TITANIUM USA 2018 Speaker Panels Will ExamineWorld Industry Demand Trends by Markets, Regions

The International Titanium Association will sponsor TITANIUM USA 2018, the 34th annual international conference and exhibition, which will be held October 7-10, 2018 at the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas.“World Titanium Industry Demand Trends,” one of the most closely watched speaker panels at the yearly gathering, will be broken into two segments.


A review of industry demand trends for key markets will lead off the discussion. Panelist will include Henry Seiner, vice president, business strategy, Titanium Metals Corp. (Timet), and the chairman of the ITA’s board of directors, will discuss aerospace engines, while Jeremy Halford, president, Arconic Engineered Structures, will examine aerospace structures. Albert Bruneau, president, Neotiss High Performance Tube, will share his thoughts on the trends for global industrial markets. Martin Pike, director of product management, ATI Specialty Materials, will examine business activity in the defense sector.


A second group of panelists, all of whom provide a strong global perspective on the titanium industry, will offer information on demand trends by regions. Michael Metz, president, VSMPO Tirus US, will outline trends in Russian titanium markets. An outlook on the Japanese titanium market will be given by Yasuaki Sugizaki, president and board member of OSAKA Titanium Technologies Co. Ltd., while Rang Qi Lei, vice president, Baoti Group Ltd., will outline trends in China’s titanium market. Mohamed Bouzidi, vice president for aerospace, energy and the defense strategic business unit of AUBERT ET DUVAL, will examine titanium demand from a European perspective.
