Businesses and governments make important decisions based on financial benefits to their organizations. This one-day course provides members of the International Titanium Association with knowledge and practical tools to help members explain and prove to customers the financial benefits of the use of titanium over other metals. The course focuses on sound financial comparisons of the strength, durability and other benefits of titanium. As a special benefit, the participants will receive a life cycle costing spreadsheet they can use to conduct LCC analyses for themselves and their customers.
- Learn practical definitions of net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR) and savings-to-investment ratio (SIR) and how to calculate them to prove the financial benefits of titanium compared to other metals.
- Learn how to use LCC spreadsheets to quickly and accurately calculate NPV, IRR and SIR for titanium applications.
Participants are invited to bring their laptop computers to begin using the complimentary LCC spreadsheet right in class.
